Amanda’s teaching empowers yoga students of all abilities and identities to cultivate freedom and strength in their bodies, and to practice with patience, courage, and a light heart. As you move through a yoga class with Amanda, you will focus on linking the movements to the breath. This unified practice, called vinyasa, creates an experience on the mat (or in the chair) that goes beyond physical aptitude to one of true self-study, self-compassion, and ease.
Amanda has been teaching yoga in the Hudson Valley for ten years. She is certified at the highest level through Yoga Alliance, and has continued her education through specific training in trauma-informed yoga, yoga for seniors, and pre/postnatal yoga.
